Space Invaders Article Featured in the May Edition of RICS Building Surveying Journal
Instructed by St Mungo’s, one of the UK’s leading homeless charities, we undertook inspections of their north east London portfolio of sheltered housing accommodation to assist with their planned refurbishment and maintenance expenditure over the next 18-24 months.
To enable a 5 year plan of works for communal areas and external improvements, we provided a schedule of maintenance for all buildings in the portfolio within one month following instruction.
Properties ranged from small Georgian terraces, large apartment blocks, converted churches to residential care homes, in all states of disrepair.
Access and inspection was arranged with managers of the individual properties. A full report on the scope of cyclical work was produced to support St. Mungo’s estates management team and measured term contractors, in planning expenditure over the next redecoration cycle.
