Instructed as part of a fresh thinking team led by Legal & General, we delivered the UK’s first ‘Foundry’ scheme at The Beacon Shopping Centre, Eastbourne. Daring to be different, the brief aimed to re-purpose, revitalise and push the boundaries, delivering an alternative fit out for a post covid world. 

Work included the provision of mechanical, electrical and public health installations as well as a highly bespoke birch ply clad bleacher staircase to link both floor levels. Moveable ‘micro’ retail units and a number of fixed retail spaces were carefully planned to help compliment and enhance the wider retail offer.
