Retained by Trinity Investment Management and later Hines UK, we provided technical due diligence and Building Surveys at acquisition stage. We then provided Project Management and Employer’s Agent services for the wholesale refurbishment of this landmark, grade II listed building in Manchester’s City centre.
Working closely with major stakeholders, we procured around 80,000 sq. ft of newly refurbished office space, adding new air conditioning and ventilation systems to deliver Grade A Cat A space to dramatically reinvigorate the building over an 18 month period.
Separate build contracts were managed to clean, repair and enhance the building’s exterior and to completely refurbish the Royal Exchange Arcade which runs through the centre of the property.
Careful liaison with major stakeholders, including Manchester City Council was needed every step of the way.
